The purpose of this test is to measure your eye, hand, and foot coordination.
Your goal is to counteract multi-directional drift and stabilize the Vertical Speed Indicator (VSI) needle on zero and keep the Slip Ball centered.
02. Instrument Calibration
Keyboard Controls:
VSI Needle: Tap or hold W (UP) / S (DOWN) to center the needle.
Slip Ball: Tap or hold Left Arrow / Right Arrow keys to center the ball.
Flight Stick / Game Controller:
VSI Needle: Push stick Forward/Backward (Axis Y) to drive the needle.

Pre-Flight System Check
Assign separate hardware control channels for both aviation instruments. Active maps glow green, missing hardware shows red and blinks if clicked.
Hardware Not Showing Up? If your stick or pedals say "Hardware Missing", move the joystick or press a button on it to wake it up. Browsers on Windows require you to interact with the device before they detect it. For rudder pedals, push them back and forth once to register.
